NOTICE TO HORSEMEN: 2-year-old Late Closer Payments Due July 26

The Agriculture & New York State Horse Breeding Development Fund reminds horsemen that New York Sire Stakes Late Closers payments for two-year-olds racing in the 2010 season are due Monday, July 26.
The payments are $300 for each two-year-old you wish to stake to the 2010 Late Closers series. Horses must be sire stakes eligible and non-winners of $14,000 lifetime to and including the date of the second 2010 scheduled New York Sire Stakes series race for each class of horse.
Payments are accepted in US funds in checks or money orders and must be postmarked by July 26, 2010. To make your payment(s), please fill out the appropriate NYSS Late Closers entry form (there is a separate form for pacer and for trotter) and mail it with your payment to:

The following race dates are the 2010 earnings limit cut-off dates for 2-year-old late closers:
2-Year-Old Colt Trot on July 24, 2010
2-Year-Old Filly Trot on July 23, 2010
2-Year-Old Colt Pace on July 25, 2010
2-Year-Old Filly Pace on July 23, 2010
